Metco - Over 50 years ago of Quality Work
Metco Manufacturing Company, Inc. was started over 50 years ago in North Philadelphia. In 1960, the company moved to Warrington, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles north of Philadelphia. Our 50,000 sq. ft. facility located at 1993 County Line Road is home to over 60 full-time employees.
We began as a family-owned tool and die shop. As we grew and earned a reputation for excellence, old and new customers gave us the opportunity to expand our product offerings and knowledge base. We diversified by machining very large to small parts for the aircraft industry, large gear housings, and special equipment for a wide variety of customers large and small.
Product quality and quality classifications are most important to us. Our QC department meets MIL-I-45208A standards. All of our inspection tools meet MIL-STD-45662A calibration requirements. We have achieved Boeing DI-9000 certification and continue to work towards more stringent Boeing quality certifications.
One unique aspect of our company is our people. When we say we’re family owned and oriented, that’s because its not just the owner who is a second generation team member. A number of the management team and crew are second generation employees have joined us over the years. We have some truly dedicated people operating unique equipment to produce quality jobs for a broad variety of customers.
